What are women in the church concerned with today? What are ways we can be praying for our sisters? How does context determine everyday struggles and the difficulty women see in the ministry? C’mon up and join Kristie Anyabwile and Trillia Newbell as they discuss why the ordinary challenges of life don’t feel ordinary, how the Lord is sufficient to carry burdens when we are overwhelmed, and what it means to be human and to be a woman of God.

Kristie Anyabwile is the wife of Thabiti, who serves as a pastor at Anacostia River Church (Washington DC). She is the joyful mother of two daughters and one son.
Trillia Newbell
Trillia Newbell is the author of Fear and Faith: Finding the Peace Your Heart Craves (2015) and United: Captured by God's Vision for Diversity (2014). Her writings on issues of faith, family, and diversity have been published in the Knoxville News-Sentinel, Desiring God, Christianity Today, Relevant Magazine, The Gospel Coalition, and more. She is currently Director of Community Outreach for the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission for the Southern Baptist Convention. For fun, she enjoys cycling, spending time with her family, and listening to a variety of music. Trillia is married to her best friend, Thern, they reside with their two children near Nashville, TN.
